Finding Your Roots
PBS will air a new genealogy-related television miniseries by Henry Louis Gates Jr. Finding Your Roots premieres Sunday, March 25 at 8:00 p.m.
The show will focus on 2 high profile individuals each week, starting with Kevin Bacon and his wife, Kyra Sedgwick.
Others in this program will include Tyra Banks, Cory Booker, Angela Buchdahl, Geoffrey Canada, Margaret Cho, Harry Connick, Jr., Robert Downey, Jr., Sanjay Gupta, Samuel L. Jackson, John Legend, John Lewis, Branford Marsalis, Yasir Qadir, Condoleezza Rice, Michelle Rodriguez, Martha Stewart, Barbara Walters and Rich Warren.

Who Do You Think You Are?

Who Do You Think You Are: Season Two premieres on Friday, February 4, at 7 pm. on NBC.
The series follows a different well-known and popular celebrity each week as they trace their family trees. Each episode will reveal surprising, inspiring and sometimes tragic stories that are often linked to events in American and international history.
As each celebrity discovers†his or her†unknown relatives - most of whom overcame hard times - the show will take viewers back through world history to expose how the lives of everyone's collective ancestors have shaped our world today.

The new PBS series Faces of America with Harvard scholar Henry Louis Gates, Jr. builds on the success of his earlier series African American Lives.
Faces of America uses genealogy and genetics to explore the family histories of 12 renowned Americans, in an attempt to answer the questions, "Who made America? what makes us?"
The series premieres nationally Wednesdays, February 10 - March 3, 2010 from 8-9 p.m. on PBS.

Who Do You Think You Are?
"Who Do You Think You Are?" is a very popular British TV show that has been exported to other countries. Each country produces their own shows, featuring local television personalities and stories.
NBC is bringing this television program to American viewers.
The American version of "Who Do You Think You are?" will premier on Friday, March 5, at 7 PM CST. It will feature American celebrities as they unearth their family trees.
